Description
Flagship Reference 2-Channel Multi-Mono Power Amplifier with 325W per channel, Made in Canada
The Anthem Statement P2 is a flagship 2-channel multi-mono power amplifier delivering 325W per channel. Handcrafted in Canada, its independent channel design ensures exceptional clarity, control, and dynamic range, bringing music and movies to life with precision and authority.
The Heart of High-Current Power
The amplifier is the heart of your system, and we engineered ours to rule. Its role is absolutely crucial: to render the most delicate musical detail while possessing the pure, raw force to deliver room-shaking explosions. Truly successful sound demands clean, quiet, and stable high-current power. The P2 and P5 reveal an elite design lineage, built for absolute authority and control. This includes multi-layered, hand-designed circuit boards with thick copper traces for superior conductivity. We employ rugged, tuned toroidal power transformers dedicated to each channel—because power supply redundancy is the key to control. Fourteen rugged bipolar output devices per channel ensure immense current delivery and effortless command into any load. Finally, a proprietary “No-Fuse” Design Strategy guarantees continuous, fail-safe performance and unwavering reliability. This is the definitive power that brings your sound to life.
Undisputed Power. Unapologetically Anthem.
Anthem Statement P Series amplifiers don’t just join your system—they take command of it. Built for brutal control, effortless dynamics, and dead-silent backgrounds, P Series turns every speaker into a heavyweight. From thunderous low end to razor-sharp detail, this is reference power with zero apologies and zero excuses.
If you’re looking for “good enough,” look elsewhere.
If you want the last word in authority, clarity, and control—this is your corner.
Isolation Is Authority:
Independent Power Supplies
The P Series are simply the cleanest, quietest amplifiers in the industry. Why? Because we treat power dedication as law. Each amplifier channel features two separate and autonomous power supplies, fed from distinct transformer windings. This is not shared power; this is stable, continuous output at maximum volume, regardless of the number of channels being driven.
While other amplifiers struggle and oscillate when driving low-impedance loads, the P2 and P5 remain perfectly stable under all conditions. If you push them into clipping, our proprietary Anti-Saturation Tracking Power Supply circuit takes over to ensure an immediate, seamless recovery.
But that’s not all, the use of a regulated power supply in the driver stage actively scrubs noise—eliminating the audible hum common in lesser designs. The result is an utterly silent noise floor.
RCA and XLR True-Balanced Inputs
The P2 and P5 slide effortlessly into any system with dual-input flexibility. A rear three-way switch lets you choose RCA for standard connections, XLR for professional-grade balanced input, or attenuated XLR for preamps needing reduced levels. All connections are gold-plated to ensure the cleanest, highest-quality signal transfer.
Silent Cooling:
Oversize Aluminum Heatsinks
The P2 and P5 amplifiers are engineered for sustained high performance, which requires superior heat management. We incorporate more than 1,125 square inches of computer-modeled heatsink (including large serrated fins) per channel.
This massive thermal infrastructure superbly dissipates the heat generated by the high power levels, eliminating the need for noise-inducing cooling fans. A dedicated thermal sensor on each heatsink continuously monitors the safe operating temperature, ensuring performance is always sustained and utterly silent.
The Ultimate in Reliability:
“No Fuse” Design
The P2 and P5 amplifiers employ a proprietary Direct-Connected design to the power supply capacitor bank. This keeps output impedance remarkably low and makes more instantaneous power available to the amplifier, resulting in audibly superior performance, even into low- or complex impedance loads.
If an output short circuit does occur, only the AC line breaker will trip—there are absolutely no fuses to replace in the signal path. Furthermore, the standby low-power supply is protected by self-resetting Positive Temperature Coefficient thermistors (PTCs). This means the circuit restores itself automatically once a tripped condition disappears, ensuring continuous reliability and eliminating downtime.
