Proprietary Input Stage:

The P2 and P5 start with Anthem’s own proprietary input topology—not a cookie-cutter differential stage. Eight hand-matched, low-noise bipolar devices run in a precision cascoded feedback array to drive distortion down, open up bandwidth, and lock in long-term reliability. Critical input pairs are heat-shrink sealed for tight thermal tracking, keeping the signal path ultra-clean, accurate, and distinctly Anthem.

We don’t share circuits. By design, the P2 and P5 amplifiers are powerful, independent monoblocks. Each channel is entirely self-contained, benefiting from its own glass-epoxy circuit board, heatsink, and an independent power supply.

Since there is zero common audio path between channels, we eliminate crosstalk completely. This is not shared power; this is absolute channel isolation. The result is superb frequency-response channel matching and a musical picture that is seamless, exquisitely detailed, and presented on a multichannel soundstage that is astonishingly transparent, cohesive, and three-dimensional. Independent Power Supplies

The P Series are simply the cleanest, quietest amplifiers in the industry. Why? Because we treat power dedication as law. Each amplifier channel features two separate and autonomous power supplies, fed from distinct transformer windings. This is not shared power; this is stable, continuous output at maximum volume, regardless of the number of channels being driven.

While other amplifiers struggle and oscillate when driving low-impedance loads, the P2 and P5 remain perfectly stable under all conditions. If you push them into clipping, our proprietary Anti-Saturation Tracking Power Supply circuit takes over to ensure an immediate, seamless recovery.

But that’s not all, the use of a regulated power supply in the driver stage actively scrubs noise—eliminating the audible hum common in lesser designs. The result is an utterly silent noise floor.
